Ronnie Wood`s new album is "all about girls"
The Rolling Stones guitarist has had a turbulent two years, in which he left his wife of 23 years Jo for teenage waitress Katia Ivanova, split from Katia, finalised his divorce from Jo, gone to rehab twice and then start a relationship with Brazilian beauty Ana Araujo, 30.
Although the 63-year-old musician says his LP `I Feel Like Playing` is about his lovers, he insists he doesn`t reference specific relationships, as they all merge.
He explained: "The songs are all about girls, but which girls? They all get mixed up. All my life there`s always been an ex-wife or a girlfriend.
Despite the upheavals in his personal life, now sober Ronnie says recording the album gave him an enormous sense of freedom.
He said: "I was living with a young girl, all my kids had grown up and it was a powerful feeling of freedom. Dad was off to follow his destiny, whatever it may be."
`I Feel Like Playing` was released on Monday (27.09.10).
